LONELY ISIS fighters are looking for love on an online dating site, according to a respected terror monitoring group.

English language website Islamic Marriage has scores of ads from men in the jihadi heartlands in Iraq and Syria.

And the Middle East Media Research Institute – based in the US capital Washington DC – has revealed that jihadists and Islamist extremists have placed ads on the dating pages.

The organisation revealed in a tweet and on its website: “Islamist extremists and ISIS fighters active on English-language Islamic Marriage website, including specially designated global terrorist from New Zealand.”

The revelation raises fears that ISIS terrorists are using the site to find wives as they look to create future generations of fanatics.

Islamic Marriage has adverts from men in the Iraqi city of Mosul and ISIS’s terror capital of Raqqa in Syria.

While the vast majority of men featured in the ads will not be ISIS fighters, there are concerns some may be using the site.

One man in Mosul said: “I am an Iraqi divorced man, looking for love and fun with a wife, I have one child daughter three years old, I really don't intend to get more kids, we will discuss that later.

“I look for a wife to love and spend pleasant times together everywhere. Meet once at certain sweet romantic places such as Turkey, to make sweet memories of love.”

Another from Mosul said: “I’m 33 yrs old, Iraqi, married man, live in Iraq.

“Interested in sport, music, play piano, movies, internet, romance and love making.

“Looking for open-minded woman interested with friendship and love making in Iraq or nearby.”

One man from Raqqa posted: “In the name of Allah the Merciful, Abdullah Yasser al-Ibrahim from Syria look for seriousness and do not like to play with feelings.

“I wish success to all the people of the site and thank the site owners.”

Another man from Iraq was looking for a second wife. He wrote: “I’m a Muslim want second wife to complete my imam and live happy.

“I’m looking for a Muslima that can marry a man for second wife have imam to Allah and help me to be a good man and love Islam.  I’ll do the best for her.”

There is no suggestion any of the above profiles are members of ISIS or hold any extremist views.

Two years ago the so-called “hacktivist” group Anonymous led an online onslaught against fanatical Muslim supporters online including a dating website for members of ISIS.

Anonymous shut down the website ISISsingles.com, making it impossible to use but leaving a testimonial purportedly from a member of the terror group.

It read: “I find perfect girl using this dating website. I was looking for woman who does not talk and will blow herself up if I command it.

“Very soon after joining dating website, I find great girl. After explosion, I then find other great girl! This site is the da bomb! Thank you ISISsingles.com!”

Paul Horner, a White House spokesman, told CNN at the time that he approved of the actions taken by Anonymous.

He said: “I cannot speak for previous operations by the group Anonymous, but anything to dismantle ISIS online, is a positive thing.”
